Visit St Luigi dei Francesi for Caravaggio’s St Matthew’s stories and St Agostino with Raphael’s “I Profeti” and Caravaggio’s “Loreto Madonna”. Stroll by the “Cembalo”, princely palace of the Borghese family with its elegant courtyard, overlooking antiquarian bookstalls in the piazzetta. See Augustus  mausoleum and Richard Meyer recently opened "Ara Pacis" museum building . See Piazza del Popolo with its once busy city gate and supposed site of Nero’s grave and visit Santa Maria del Popolo with Raphael’s Chigi Chapel, Caravaggio’s Crucifixion of St Peter and Conversion of St Paul and Bernini’s angels and main altar. A stroll along the Via del Babuino, with its antiques stores and elegant designers showrooms leads to popular Spanish Steps at the end of the  tour.
